哈尔滨-尔滨-滨子
《哈尔滨-尔滨-滨子》稿件
Part 1
Brother Left and Right
Welcome to the Harbin Ice-Snow World.
Let’s welcome the host of our dream Stage,
Brother Left and Right!
My name is Teng Yue.
I’m a Harbin local.
Some people called me “Left Foot, Right Foot”
because of a slogan I used.
Then I gave myself the nickname “Brother Left and Right”.
I’m so glad that Harbin rose to fame this year.
Back in 1991, my mom took me to the Ice-Snow World.
and I made a wish.
If I could live here, surrounded by these ice house every day,
I’d be so happy.
I never imagined it’d come true,
but here I am now,
and I can’t go a day without being here.
Change the background music to Memories Like Smoke.
Days of the past are like smoke
It’s been many years
Who has etched the passage of time
Between their brows
The one I’ve been missing
It’s been so long since we’ve seen each other
Just showing my talent.
I know exactly what I’m here to do,
and I’m fully committed to it.
I don’t want to behave unnaturally and spoil the fun.
When tourists come to visit,
they want to feel connected to the city.
Right foot. Left foot.
Left, right.
Be careful with your dance steps.
5103?
Is it possible that the ID number ends in 5013?
Some people asked if that guy really lost his ID,
and I said he really did.
It wasn’t a show.
It was real.
Harbin welcomes you!
Brother Left and Right,
I love you with all my heart!
I came here for you!
As we get more and more attention,
we work even harder to perfect our performance.
Two minutes to the live show.
We are going live now.
Have you tested the mic and everything?
Time’s up!
We polish every aspect of our live show.
We don’t allow any mistakes.
Thank you for your hard work.
In 2021, the Ice-Snow World was open for 19 days,
we performances for 7 days.
There were only four living beings in the park:
me, the cameraman, the gatekeeper, and a crow.
It’s through persistence that we find hope.
I’m going to sleep.
Clear your head.
There are no days off for me.
My mom won’t call me,
no matter how much she misses me.
Can we talk now or wait till you wake up?
After I wake up.
This year,
I feel genuinely happy.
My sense of belonging and pride in this city has exploded.
As Harbin locals,
we must be pioneers and cheer for our great motherland.
The five-star Red flag waves in the wind
How loud the song of victory sounds
We sing of our beloved motherland
It moves towards prosperity and strength
One phrase I love is,
“Throughout our entire life, excluding sleep,
We have only about 10,000 meaningful days,
Will you live the same day 10,000 times,
Or will each day be unique?”
This thought offers a different perspective on life.
Part 2
A Sichuanese in Harbin
Harbin is an absolutely delightful place.
In Sichuan dialect, we’d say it’s extremely “bashi”.
It’s become famous internationally.
A local from out of town!
Now, I refer to Harbin simply as Binny.
Binny!
Harbin has been presented with a perfect opportunity.
As tourism professionals, we must grasp it.
Even when selling food, we call them “Prince” or “Princess”.
We can offer little souvenirs like fridge magnets.
Or Russian chocolates.
In the tourism industry, the key point of differentiation is the service quality.
My name is Sun Xingping.
I am a tour guide and travel vlogger in Harbin.
This year, tourism in Harbin has exploded.
In Sichuan dialect,
we’d say it’s “xiongqi”,
Which means “on the rise”.
You are all princesses.
Right, and here is the “Prince spud”.
He’s an old spud.
Those are our international guests from Malaysia.
Let’s dance for you.
Now on Central Street,
we’re sharing treats with tourists from the south.
Let me take you there.
We want them to feel the warmth
and hospitality of Harbin.
If you can get on well
with women from the northeast,
they are like compliant and gentle kittens.
But if you can’t, they are like tigers.
Well said!
Thank you.
A bountiful harvest.
Nice, take a sip.
Harbin’s popularity isn’t just
because of its ice and snow attractions.
It is the warmth and sincerity of its people
that really touch the hearts of the “Southern Spuds”,
as locals affectionately call the visitors from the south
This winter, I am thrilled to see many people
from different ethnic groups on Central Street,
people I have never met before.
Do you know where I’m from?
From your accent...
Take a guess.
I think you are from the south.
The answer is, I’m a local from out of town!
When I told them
I was a local from somewhere else,
they were a bit puzzled but found it interesting.
Come visit us
at the foot of Dadingzi Mountain,
by the Wusuli River.
We’ll prepare a feast of fresh fish caught from the river.
This winter, Harbin isn’t cold.
There’s only romance and warmth.
This hovercraft is the Rolls-Royce
of river cruises on the Songhua River.
This year, Harbin feels so different to us,
and they even changed its name.
I’ve been here for over a decade,
but I’ve never called it Binny.
Now, I call it Binny.
Harbin, Binny!
Binny!
There are some beautiful ladies there.
How do you like it here?
It is nice,
and the people are very welcoming.
Have you met any handsome guys from the northeast?
Not yet.
How about that one?
Speak some Cantonese for us.
Come and play.
It’s cold but amazing,
Harbin is an absolutely delightful place.
In Sichuan dialect, we’d say it is extremely “Bashi”.
This is the personal experience of a “Southern Spud”
who has lived in Harbin for 18 years.
Part 3
Princess is Coming
Open your eyes.
Don’t move.
Tidy up your bangs.
Move to the right a little.
Where are you from?
I’m from Shaanxi Province.
A Shaanxi girl.
When we go outside, don’t forget this hand warmer.
Only take it off when I’m taking pictures.
Your hands will get very cold if you keep them out for too long.
My name is Shi Jiwei.
I’ve been in the photography industry for over 20 years.
My love for the northeast and my career aspirations drove me to come to this beautiful city.
Do you like Harbin?
Yes, I love Harbin.
The city’s atmosphere is great.
There’s so much good food in Harbin.
Good food?
Yes, there’s so much of it.
I want to try everything.
Harbin welcomes you.
One day, I was scrolling through my phone, and I saw you were in Harbin.
Then I came here for you.
Let’s browse through the photos first.
When our customers see their photos,
the joy and excitement on their faces always give us a great sense of accomplishment.
The guy next to me was holding a fox.
It looks nice.
I said to him, “We’re both from the northeast. Can I hold it for a bit?”
Then he let me hold it.
You took a couple of pictures with it.
People from the northeast are very sincere.
Yes, they’re very warm-hearted.
I don’t need to change my pants, right?
No, you don’t.
We’ll see if we can find a vest later.
The body warmer won’t fit.
I’ve been quite busy.
I look like a foreigner.
Pretty?
I love Harbin.
We’re not cold.
Exactly, we must have faith.
Not cold at all.
I want to thank my team.
In every link, we have dedicated people to make sure that
no matter how many customers we have,
we can always deliver the best quality of service.
Where are you from?
I’m from Ili, Xinjiang.
That’s a nice place.
Is it beautiful?
Absolutely.
The weather is pretty good today.
Be proud.
Give me that proud look.
There are so many “princesses”.
In the northeast, we have a phrase - “frozen beauty”.
Show the hemline.
Turn your head to the left.
As photographers, we always try to find the perfect angle to take the best photo for our customers.
It’s so cold that I’m weeping.
I’m frozen stiff.
Is it worth it?
Yes, it is.
With such beautiful photos, is it worth it?
Yes, it’s really worth it.
Was that a Xinjiang dance you were doing?
Yes.
How did you move your neck like that?
I can just do it naturally.
Even ants in Xinjiang can do it.
No, I can’t do it.
Look into the distance.
Hold still.
Relax your mouth.
Your hands are blocking your mouth.
Since most customers aren’t professional models, they don’t know how to pose naturally.
They might feel awkward.
But with some guidance and adjustments, they can relax and feel more at ease.
Go.
I will make this studio in Harbin more refined.
At the same time, I’ll also develop new scenes
and create more innovative shooting styles,
and hopefully attract more tourists to this beautiful city.
Harbin is my favorite.
Harbin, here we come.
Welcome to the northeast.
Part 4
Fatty Yin
(3:20 am)
(Hongzhuan Morning Market in Harbin Welcomes You)
My name is Yin Wenhua. I’m 74 years old.
I started in this line of work in 1987.
It's been 38 years now.
This job requires early mornings and late nights
I typically wake up around 2 am, start preparing,
and by 3 am, I’m ready to get to work.
To make perfect fried glutinous rice cakes, controlling the heat is crucial.
Customers come to Harbin many times just for these fried cakes.
People from all over the country are watching us.
They won’t forget it once they’ve tasted it.
Your first time here?
Yes, it is.
Since last summer, tourists from all over the country have been flocking to Harbin.
Are you here on a trip?
My friends are still sleeping, so I came alone.
We’ve been actively looking for ways to increase production.
We used to use only one pot, sometimes two.
Now, we have three pots running at full capacity.
We couldn’t produce more even if we wanted to.
In the past, we made about 3,000 fried cakes a day, sometimes 4,000.
Now, we make about 7,000 a day.
Enjoy.
Thank you.
You’re welcome.
Welcome to Harbin of the northeast.
I’m here waiting for you.
Your Highness, please enjoy this sausage.
Thank you.
This is an opportunity to promote Harbin and ourselves.
We can only win the recognition and love of customers nationwide through better service and products.
People here are so welcoming.
I want frozen strawberries.
The line is so long.
I guarantee it won’t take more than half an hour.
How do you make these?
Do you have a secret recipe?
No.
As long as you use high-quality ingredients, it’ll taste good.
You just make it with care and good ingredients, right?
Exactly.
That’s the key.
I’m a “Southern Spud” from Guangzhou.
Many people from the south usually prefer light food and don’t like fried stuff, but they find our food amazing.
We can’t let our customers down, and we can’t let ourselves down.
It’s good.
The weather today is great with the snow.
I didn’t wear thick pants yesterday, but I am now, so I’m not cold anymore.
As a native of Harbin, I’ve witnessed the city’s development.
Aren’t you cold?
No, I feel very hot when working inside.
Aren’t you cold?
Not really.
Honestly, I’m very happy.
Growing up by the Songhua River, I have deep feeling for Harbin.
We just hope that Harbin can get better and better.
Welcome to Harbin.
I’ll be waiting for you right here.
I hope visitors from other parts can love Harbin, enjoy all the delicious food, and come back often.
Part 5
Harbin Princess in the Castle
“Spud Princesses” come and get your tangerines!
Tourists from all over the country can now taste the tangerines and mandarin oranges sent by our friends from Guangxi to Volga Manor.
Yes, these are from Guangxi.
This winter, Harbin has become so incredibly popular that it makes me excited and even a bit touched.
The phrase “a fairy tale world, a dreamlike setting” perfectly describes our Volga Manor.
My name is Guo Yanni. I’m a Harbin girl working in this dream castle.
I’ve been working at Volga Manor for nearly nine years. We’ve never had such a surge of visitors as we’ve had this winter.
Lately, we’ve been calling the southern visitors “Little Golden Beans”.
How do you say that in Russian?
“Little Golden Beans”?
Yes.
How do you say that in Russian?
I don’t know.
How about spuds?
“Southern Spud”?
Right, “Southern Spud”.
Volga Manor was built out of a love for the history and culture of Harbin. Over thirty classic buildings were rebuilt. The most iconic one is the St. Nicholas Cathedral right in front of us. Remarkably, this wooden building was constructed without a single nail, making it a masterpiece of wooden architecture.
Where was the original cathedral located?
It was originally in the center of Hongbo Square in Harbin. The manor rebuilt it here later.
Look over here.
As a Harbin local, I know better than anyone how rare this opportunity is. We need to seize it with 200% enthusiasm, and let more people learn about our hometown’s stories and appreciate its beauty.
Raise your head and say “Hi!”
It’s so much fun.
He wants to build a snowman.
Remember, kids, you’re not supposed to eat snow. But do you want to eat some ice?
Did you hear the crunching sound?
At the beginning of the new year, the manor welcomed a special group of guests: children from Guizhou here on a study trip.
Thank you.
The building straight ahead is the Petrov Art Palace.
What touches out-of-town visitors most is our hospitality. What they might not know is that their appreciation of Harbin also deeply moves us.
Superb.
In the northeast, there is no problem that can’t be solved.
Support Harbin.
We cherish this trip so much. Even though it’s freezing, we’ll take lots of photos with our phones.
Besides the castle itself, we also have horse-drawn sleds that go around the castle. It’s beautiful.
The environment here is really nice. You must be very happy working here.
Of course, I feel very fortunate. You are the southern “Golden Bean Princesses”, and I am the Harbin Princess living in the castle.
